B Corps represent a growing number of businesses and entrepreneurs using powerful tools to measure their impact, and changing their business's DNA to incorporate a commitment to their communities, environment and employees.
Today, there are over 1,350 Certified B Corps from 41 countries and over 120 industries. They range from large multinational corporations to small social entrepreneurs. Charlotte Sewell is Social Impact Manager for COOK, a fast growing premium prepared food manufacturer and retailer that became a B Corp in November 2013. Alongside this, she is part of the B Lab UK team, bringing the 1,300 strong global B Corp movement of companies using business as a force for good, to the UK. She is also a fellow of On Purpose, a programme for early-career professionals identified as future leaders in social enterprise.
