TALK: CHRISTIAN STADIL
IN THE SHOWER WITH PICASSO
HOW TO BECOME MORE CREATIVE
Creativity is here to stay. To be inventive and improvising is no longer a luxury for the few, but a task for many. There are very few jobs left in Denmark with a workload defined in advance, and where routine procedures are the rule. The person who sees new opportunities has become the ideal, as a knowledge-driven society replaced or supplemented an industrial society. It challenges us. The Western world has few natural resources and high wages. We cannot compete on low wages or the promise of unlimited natural resources. We must find something else. We need to become more creative.
In his talk Christian will talk about the latest practical knowledge about creativity. Creativity is a novelty that creates value. He'll present five new findings essential to promoting creativity:
- Fake it until you make it
- Quantity promotes quality
- Thinking on the edge of the box
- The creative break
- Slow thinking
