2023 highlights

3 days where we celebrated 10 years of Summercamp

How to sum up my weekend in one word? HOME. This was my first time at Summercamp and immediately it felt like home. An amazing experience of being with likeminded people - where the energy of the place is one that you can call as coming home. Coming home to one’s people.

WATCH THE TALKS FROM FRIDAY

I sensed, I felt, I learned, I saw, I heard, I met, I hugged, I danced. And I still feel like there’s no words to tell you about it. What I can say is I have not been at a festival that had this level of care, inspiration and beauty.

Summercamp in their words

A weekend with The Happy Startup School is the epitome of the saying ‘Do things that make you forget to check your phone.’ I danced (a lot), laughed (more than I have in a long long time), swam 🏊‍♀️ (from Team Might to Team Did 🫡) and reconnected with the feeling of pure joy. The things that happen in the field open a portal to a whole new world of opportunity.
— Liana Fricker

– Day 2 –

WATCH THE TALKS FROM SATURDAY

I have travelled the world. I have searched high and low. I have dipped my toe into many communities. The places that have felt like home without any effort have been few and far between. Happy Startup Summercamp is one of those rare jewels.
— Ebonie Allard

– Day 3 –

WATCH THE TALKS FROM SUNDAY

It is actually impossible to capture something so rich in words, but on the festival site I came across this word which actually sums it up perfectly. It’s love. Summercamp is a celebration of love.
— Kees Klomp, speaker

Summercamp is a crucible for change, attended each year by an amazing bunch of 150 souls who are eager and open to getting things done - and done in better and more loving ways. It’s an anchor. It’s a community. It’s an emotional rollercoaster. A fresh start every year.
— Pete Mosley
